This is a bed we transition my four year son to when he left his toddler bed and he loves it. He loves to hide underneath and really enjoys climbing up the slide.(yes, climbing up)

Every kid who comes in your home will want to check it out... what kid doesn't want a slide coming off their bed!!! That can be good and bad... they LOVE it but I am short and it's difficult for me to reach to change the bed. My son is now 5 and can finally help me. Despite that, I HIGHLY recommend this product.

We live in Manhattan/NYC where space is at a premium, so we were looking around stores for a bunk bed or at least a loft. Most places here were selling the exact same furniture for 2-3x these prices. Anyhow, we were more than satisfied. [...] the assembly was pretty straightforward. In retrospect, I wish I had realized how much clearance the slide needs, since it's a pretty steep slide and your kid is basically going to go plowing towards whatever is in front of the bottom of the slide. We actually have some soft foam layered on the wall opposite the bottom of the slide now, just because she goes flying off the end of the slide. We got the pink version of this, which is really quite cute, along with the top tent. I'd have to warn you though not to expect a ton of clearance in the area below the bed. In fact, we put the whole thing on bed risers to put a toddler bed underneath. It works, sort of, and you can get those risers at any home furnishing store (they're usually sold as "space saver" risers), and allows us to position another bed.The only other thing I wish the bed had was a better set of hand-holds near the ladder. My kid wants to climb up, but has a little trouble with the spacing and width of the rungs, so we wound up just getting the [...] drawer thing that looks like a bunch of steps (I think it's called "TROFAST") and positioning it in front of the ladder. Finally, I agree with the other reviewer who said that the velcro stuff rips apart a little bit in some places. Part of this was my own stupid fault; I got in the top bunk to sort out some stuffed animals, and then tried to get out and ripped some of the velcro off. But it's nice that nothing is tacked down so permanently as not to be able to wash the tent covers. Though I can't say we've ever needed to wash the tent covers per se.

This is a great bed for young children. My four year old son has lots of fun playing in his tent and sliding down the slide. And it was easy to put together.

We bought this bed for our 4 year old daughter and she absolutely loves it! It was easy to assemble and is sturdy and well-made. She loves the slide and the play area under the bed. The only problem we had was not with the bed itself, but the tent. The velcro attaching it to the bed kept ripping off, but we were able to fix that ourselves.
